How sleepy are you?
Only you can start a conversation with your doctor about your sleepiness. Measure your sleepiness using the Epworth Sleepiness Scale (ESS) and bring your results to your doctor. Your answers could help determine if you are experiencing excessive sleepiness (ES) due to shift work disorder (SWD), treated obstructive sleep apnea (OSA), or narcolepsy.1
Work shifts or a non-traditional schedule? Can’t stay awake at work?
Your Way to Improved Wakefulness is a simple 3-step guide to talking to your doctor about getting help for excessive sleepiness due to SWD. If you work shifts and are excessively sleepy on the job, complete Your Sleepiness Report and find out if NUVIGIL could be right for you.
While NUVIGIL is used to improve wakefulness in patients with ES due to SWD, treated OSA, or narcolepsy, it is not used to treat the sleep disorders themselves or their other symptoms or consequences.
